image.jpgGreetings all, i recently got myself a really nice indo dat from ray but it seems to be having some troubles acclimating.

he’s a bit small so i put him in a seperated part of the tank. it’s been a week and he’s only taken two small bites out of blood worms.

anything i should be particularly worried about or doing?

he was starved two days before he was sent over to me

i also blocked up one of his sides so its closed

he kinda just chills in the corner though or occasionally comes up to the front and stares at me until he gets scared

I would recommend putting in a piece of driftwood. Your tank looks very bright. Dats like to settle close to and blend in with driftwood.

There is lots of leftover bloodworm in your picture. I would not feed bloodworm to dats. Get some live ghost shrimp. They won't pollute the water and the dat will love them. River shrimp is a natural part of dat diet and bloodworm is not.

blood worms was what ray was feeding em before he got sent over, i was trying to pellet train him but its been a week and at this size im not sure if i should continue using pellets and bloodworms

i will try some ghost shrimp and also add in some wood

i turned down the lights snd gave him some wood in the back, not sure if i should continue feeding attempts everydayimage.jpg
