how to add a pic to a thread

Hey everyone, I feel like such a newb asking this...used to do it before with no problems, but I might be loosing my touch lol
I used to click on the "insert image" button, then plug in the url link
going to try it:

ahh ha I see what I wasn't doing-wasn't using the proper link-you had to register with them to get the correct one...got it down.....thanks!

if you right click on an image anywhere, and "copy link location" that is the URL to the photo and should work fine

i don't have a "copy link location" option when i right click. is there another option? also arowfan references the proper link after registering with them. who is them and how do you register?

on other threads i was able to hit the insert image button. it gave me a choice of url or browse local. i'm no longer getting that and only get the url option.

any suggestions?? thanks.

i would suggest you use imgur.com if you want to host anonymous photos.

photobucket is a great site if you want to keep a personal gallery, you get 10gb of bandwidth per month and can not upload "bad" pics or they will be deleted.

facebook, myspace, and tumblr all also allow you to upload photos for free.


you can use the attachment function here on MFK but you need to realize...your costing mfk alot of its ad reveniu by uploading photos here...be kind and use another services for that so they can still provide a fast user experiences

i asked about some kind of payment and per rachel the boss man says no. it will all be free. he wont even put up a donate button! pretty darn nice of him whoever he is. i don't think my 200 K pic is costing alot of add money. how MFK runs this site is up to them and if they need money or would take a donation, i would be happy to contribute. either way i still set up a photobucket account.
