So I am going to be getting some green mushrooms. I am getting them from another reefer. They are not going to be attached to a rock. What is the best method for getting them to attach to a rock in my tank?

Get a plastic cup drill hole's all around the top put some rubble rock in it and drop mushroom in the cup use bridal vail to cover the opening and put in a medium flow area. Should attach in a week or two

So I picked up my green mushrooms today. They are about 1 inchers. I pulled out a small rock and placed them on it and wrapped it in a vale material a placed it back in my tank. We will see how they do. Got 5 of them for $5. Think that's a pretty good deal. They get plenty of light with the material I used and I did not wrap it too tight just loosely but enough to hold them in place.
So the mushrooms seem to be doing good so far. This is actually the first set of corals I have intentionally added to my tank (and attached to a rock). They shine a nice bright green under the atinics. Can't wait till I get the netting off and attached the rock to where I want it.
Here is a pick of what I ended up doing. Note that the bands run between the mushrooms and not on top of them. They seem to already be attaching. My friend that I got these from lives like a block away and scraped them off of a rock from his tank and they were only off the rock for about 10 minutes by the time I had them in place and strapped down to this one.
