Hi,

Well it seems like my desktop PC is headed down that path that it is gonna crap out on me. I am going to be doing backups for my documents and pictures. But the one thing that I don't know how to do is back up or save my bookmarks/favorites. I have tons of bookmarks and favorites. Way too many things to remember. One time my PC was acting funny and I did a restore and lost everything. So now I want to know if there is a way to save it.

Thanks

If they are in IE, they are in your "Favorites" folder under "Documents and Settings" or "C:\Users\account name\Favorites" so you can copy them into an external device. You can export the bookmarks to your Chrome browser then sign in using a Google account. Save all your preferences under that account. When your PC dies and you're using another/new device, go to Chrome and log in. Your bookmarks should reappear and then you can export them to your other browsers.
