I have a pair of 5 1/2-6 inch barred midas and would like to know if anyone had any tips or info on how to get them to spawn. They are currently in a 75g alone. Any info, comments, pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Nice fish I would start by adding a decent sized clay flower pot. Get your water to around 80 degrees for a week or so then do a water change of 25 percent and add cold water to trigger the spawn. Keep them well fed and they should spawn. Can'nt wait to see some pics of your pair.

I'd divide them and feed them heavily for a couple of weeks, including some live red wigglers or earthworms.
Keep a flowerpot and a piece of slate on the female's side (near the divider)
Do a big water change (say 80%) of warmer water (say 80F if the tanks cooler) and they'll spawn...
