I know this isnt a monster fish but I see many of you are very experienced and was wondering how. Figured you guys would no.

You should post this in the invert section...

But to answer your question, get either some Shrimp specific or Plant Specific aquarium soil, set up tank with filter, add plants and water, let it cycle, and then add shrimp making sure to feed about once every 2 to 3 days...

Adding some plants and driftwood would help make them feel more comfortable, and then its just a matter of waiting for them to breed given you have at least 1 Male and 1 Female in the tank and thats about it...

They breed like rabbits, so as long as you give them adequate space, food and good water etc, they should start breeding in no time...

^ Yup, its almost impossible to get them NOT to breed...

But i have to say this really only applies to RCS species... Since with the rest, (at least in my experience) have proven to be real tricky, to the point where i'm now waiting till i have a much larger tank to deal with them in so i can keep everything as stable as possible without losing all my stock...

No worries, just thought you'd get more answers there thats all :)

Oh and welcome to MFK....

Just put them in a tank at 75f and feed them with algae wafers and occasional shrimp pellets with weekly water changes and you'll have more shrimp than you know what to do with.
Their a plague down in my fishroom now.
