Basically all you need is a tank with a male and a female. They will pair off soon, the odd male out will likely be bullied though.
Once they pair they are likely to breed, and 200 gallons is more than enough for both pairs to have ample space.

You need three things to breed Convicts
1) a male Convict
2) a female Convict
3) add water
They really are that easy to breed.
This pair did three day after I picked them up from The Wet Spot
If you just got them give them a few days to settle in. You will have fry in no time.

One guy left a pair in a 5 gallon bucket over night as he was giving them to someone else the next day and they spawned in the bucket, they really are that easy to breed. It’s harder to make them *not* breed.
