How to breed Geophagus?

Hey Everybody,

In hope of a larger tank I will need peaceful tank mates like geos for some rays. Just curious if anyone knows any tips on how to breed them, how to tell if male or female, fish easiest to breed and which breed is most colorful. Thanks a million

We recommend that you try to simulate the transition between the dry and wet seasons by doing large waterchanges that are a little cooler than the water in the tank as well as maybe some live worms. It's all about conditioning...
