i want to build a sump that will filter a 100gal. tank, im putting it on a 75 but ill be getting a 100 soon and would like to transfer it. is this possible, if not id still like to have it rated for at least 100 gal.

Is your tank going to be glass or acrylic? Are you trying to say that you are going to have a 100g tank with a 75g sump?

more than likely glass, and im saying the sump will be connected to a 75 gal tank (filtering the 75) and when i get a 100gal. i would lik to transfer it, but if i cant then ill just build two of them, one 4 each. but i want it/them to be capable of filtering a 100 gal. even the one running on the 75.
