How to build my own sump/filter

Was thinking about making my own sump/filter for my 360 gallon....i have never done this before....any pointers on size of tank for the sump and directions to build one?

any info is much appreciated....

I would say the sump should be at least 100g...

ok ....thinking about using a 75 gallon...but need some serious help building this thing....anybody know of any very specific threads with nice pics to show how to build it....I am not having any luck. Alot of threads discusssing them....but not finding many pics...

Get some glass pieces cut at HD, along with some silicone, you can make something alot more interesting.

I am in the middle of building a sump for a 315G tank. The sump is right around 100G. There are 2 threads currently running that discuss the sump and tank. My sump is going to be plywood sealed with liquid rubber.

I don't think you'll be able to fit 75g tank inside your stand Jim, just try to modify your existing sump and get the canister filter for mech filtration.
