here are some pics of my pool, i used 1" pvc pipe. you just cut a 4" piece or so and shove it in the outlet hole, 90 degree and then its up to you on what to do. i went another 7" or so up and put another 90 on then another piece of pipe with a cap on the end and a slit running about 6" in the middle of it and wa la. you then have a fountain you can move around and do what ever you want to with. as you see in the pics i move it around all the time. i also had a spare pump/filter laying around but you can do it with just the one that comes with the pool.
