What is the best and safest method for catching and transfering stingrays? Picking up a 19" female today. Have a fish cooler large enough for her just do not want to end up ripping her barb off with a net if there is a improper way of catching these things.

I have never had to catch 1 that big but im interested to find out how people go about it although i have seen a thread on here that mentioned something about a rubber net.
It would be good if anyone posts a demo vid of a large ray been netted to move to an aquarium.

What about like a shallow storage tub, if it fits in the aquarium? I know Ive seen afew setups on here that would fit one lol

Rubber nets are a very good investment. They might be spendy but everything involving rays is. Besides, it will come in handy when it's time to fish pups out.

$60 rubber net big enough for a 30" fish and the biggest rubbermaid container Canadian Tire had. Now im off to see how wet im gonna get...
