how to catch baby pbass

in my spot theres at least 50 of thse baby pbass. i wanted to know how to catch them. cast net wont work because they hang around a branch. do you think the smallest hook i can find and a reallly small fish could work?

sounds like a good idea maybe throw some bloodworms inside or earthworms lol i wouldnt try catching them one by one even tho its possible its just if your trying to keep them they will get stress and die easier thats why if i catch fish for my tank i try to use a net or a trap

last time u nused bread cuz thats the only thing i had... this time ill try cut up hot dot... last year i caught like 5 im my bait trap with bread in it lol

i caught a baby pbass about 2in bigger that same day with a really small hook and a really small fish lol

i caught all mine with a small gold hair hook and a feeder goldfish...they do not stress too much because the fish instantly comes out of the ewwater, then you must get them tomyour tank fast, the bucket or water is where they will stress most. i lost more on the way home than anything else. i have had about 10 different peacocks that i have all caught this way. i now have 4 in my tank.....nets work but those guys are very fast.
