ya, a fish nord baited with nightcrawler on a small barbless hook will catch baby bass

I use the minnow-napper. Aquatic Ecosystem in Apopka just outside Orlando sells them. I got mine from Sports Authority. I've seen them at a local Walmart in the past.

If your as cheap as me or like making things, I saw an article once about a boyscout project that made these... Take a 2 liter soda bottle, cut off the spout end right were the side starts and turn it around and insert it back into the bottle far enough that the edgesmatch up. They melted holes around the edge and sewed it on. Then melt holes all around the sides and bottom of it with a soldering iron or wood burning tool. (or heat up a large wire).

Just some knowledge in case you ever stuck on a deserted island and blah blah blah... :D

u can make one outta a soda bottol, cut the top off about 3" from the bottom of then bottol neck, then turn cut off and turn it around with the bottol to facing in (but remove the bottol top) then staple the 2 rims together attach some string, add a few rocks in the bottom to make it sink add some worms in the bottol, then sint it in the river, the fish will swim in but wont be able to swim out as they aint that smart works for me ;)

I read somewhere inverting the curved part of a soda bottle after cutting it off works well....Now where did I read that... :irked:
