how to change ac 110 impeller shaft

is it possible to change ac impeller shaft by myself? and how?

Doesnt the motor just unscrew from the bottom, and its magnetic so it just pops in and out.

i'm talking about the metal bar that goes into the impeller.

It usually all comes as 1 package. The magnet, shaft, and impeller are sold as 1 piece.

The shaft pulls straight out of the motor, just get yourself a pair of plyers and pull it out.
I've replaced worn shafts, they're usually the first things that get worn down on the ac110's (mainly because I use sand) and usually results in a loud grinding noise.

hey dennis, how do you put in shaft in? does it stay in place well?

just line it up with the hole that it sits in, push down with your fingers, make sure its straight and then lightly tap it with a hard object. it should stay snug.

I'm pretty sure its an incredibly simple task. The whole impeller shaft assembly thing pulls out, doesn't it?

I think the term impeller shaft and impeller assembly are being confused.
