My snakehead & gars won't eat any thing else but feeder fish and frogs, guys, I really need all the support and help I can get to change my fishes diet to frozen prawns and fish.
Well.. Atlest my aros eat MW and Keri which are safer for them compared to live feeders.

Try starving them? Don't feed them for a 2-3 days and they should take to the food thats presented to them.

2 ways to do it

  1. Immediate change. You just switch over to the new food. Your fish may not accept them but it doesn't matter. This is a game of patience. Just add the food in, and if they don't eat after 15 mins or so, remove and try again tomorrow. Their hunger will overcome their stubborness soon. I would not use this method on juvenile fishes as they tend to be more fragile at this point of stage. Would also avoid with aggressive fish in community tanks such as channa as they might just attack the other fishes out of hunger.
  2. Gradient change. Mix it up. Add abit of mp or pellets the next time you feed along with live feeders. Then reduce the amount of live feeders and increase the amount of mp/pellets daily once they started to take interest in them. Do this until they are 100% converted to mp/pellets.
I prefer the 2nd way since I don't think starving them is healthy. Takes a longer time, but for the well-being of the fish, I don't mind. Just a point to note, you can tie the mp with some fishing strings and place it at the output of your filter to "move" it. Currently your fish are used to predation (seeing their food move). So it would help in interest them with a moving mp.

WOW this ans almost all my questions! Hmmmcan i stuff a feeder frog full with MP in is mouth then feed it to them?

erm can i just put in MW since all most of my fishes eat them then let those who are used to feeders get used to it?

Wow.. I won't dare to do that.
But if you have guts, by all means.

You will probably have to ween the off of it or maybe stop feeding them feeders at once and put in the other food. They will not let themselves starve to death.

Another method is to add a similar species of fish that is already mp and pellet trained
They tend to monkey see, monkey do
