I'm getting a rattling/shuddering noise coming from my Fx5 and the Fx5 troubleshooting guide says I need to clean the impeller. Sadly, it does not offer instructions on how to. Anyone know how? I figured I'd ask before I just go try to take it apart and possibly break something.

did you clean the impeller housing too? I had to take one of mine apart a few times b/c it wouldn't work right and finally I just cleaned every part I could and I got alot of crap out of it and then it worked fine. It was a Pain to take it apart so many times but I had too. also make sure your bolts are good and tight you don't want to pump housing shaking loose. Although if that were the case you would have a water leak also.
actually I just cleaned out the impeller where it sits in the pump! I'll have to take it apart again lol. Thanks for the help!
