just like the title says how should i go about cleaning it to put under my sand.... or do i need to clean it at all?
How to clean peat moss?

When I use peat moss for breeding killiefish, I put the peat in a 5 gallon pail with water overnight. After it soaks and sinks, remove the floating particles. Drain and put it in tank.
Well im gonna cover it with sand anyways... So do i need to soak it... Jw of the floaty stuff matters of ots jus gonna be covered anyways
