I guess vindication wasnt the best term for the occasion. Maybe this, which is listed under vindication - enchroachment

Temporal encroachment is an action that affects the perception of time or that affects the ability to take action in the future. Temporal means related to the measurement or passing of time and encroachment is an intrusion, usually unwelcome, into the space of another.
The space that temporal encroachment refers to is temporal space, the temporal "space" or "territory" upon which others attach significance.
There are various kinds of temporal encroachment:

im hoping its not cause i never had ich before i got the mollys. all my fish were at room temp with no health issues. so maybe they got it from the store i got them from? if thats the case then ill be dealing with this for a while i bet DANGIT

Hopefully it works hun.. I would say it may be a temporary solution, some fish are just more susceptible to ich then others, which is why you probably didn't get it before the molly's. Ich is usually caused by stress, or bad water parameters.
Although, after treating fish for ich and they recover, they do become somewhat immune to it.. so it will be harder to contract ich again. Not saying that they won't get it again, just that it would be harder for them to get it again.

thanks and how long should i leave the mollys seperated from the main tank for? and i have 7 other mollys in the main tank but they look fine so i still dosed the tank with salt and if that dont work within a week ( no ick so far ) i will have to go to the ick cure treatment... or buy some other meds.

haha if I said that to my gma I'd get smacked! You can print this thread out and show her that you really do NEED a heater.. why doesn't she want you to have a heater???

Still treat the main tank & the hopsital tank until all signs of ich are gone.. if you still see the fish scrapping along the bottom or on decor continue with treatment, some say to treat ich for 20 days or so.. but I've done it in 10. That was with heat though.. so I wouldn't really know without heat. Just until you no longer see any ich and maybe a few days extra to be safe!
