I'm about 5 years in and haven't found a "cure" yet. I've only figured out how to slow it down. I usually only buy 1-2 at a time now every few months. And I try to only buy select specimens, so I try not to just walk in an buy a delhezi even if I haven't seen one at that store before. I'm also going by the "if you want some new toys you have to get rid of the old ones" saying. It's way harder said than done as I'm figuring out. As I've built my collection I bought almost every fish for a specific reason and can remember exactly where and who I got them from. So if I were you I would try and slow down while you still have room and not have to sell off any of yours when you start getting up there in numbers.

Another easier option is to not look for a cure and just keep buying tanks to fill and feed the addiction, but I'm not sure bill gates would be capable of paying for that many tanks as the the addiction grew.

Well said Dr B.
I am really fascinated with LJ species at the moment. And totally agree on your point of slowing down and buy with a purpose. Recycling is one option too definitely. And I am on it.

It's easy...setup your browser to block all related fish website included this forum, don't visit your LFS for any reasons and treat your fish like your wife or better than your wife...soon she will notice and the result either she will make you either choose her or your fish...it's your choice :P that 1 way ticket to cure your addiction...

Experience counts for sure. ;-)

My other half was fine with all this, when I had "pretty fishesin aquarium" at home.

With my new fascination and after watching a bichir crawling on floor Its exactly the same as Yuki said :-)

My cure is a wife , two kids, mortgage, and private school., water bills, and high electric costs.... and its still very hard ! :)
