How to decorate

So working on my tank and trying to take in ideas on best way to decorate this tank.. all ideas will be helpful lol

Sand or gravel and possibly plants for the background. Maybe a couple of large smooth rocks. The Jags may become territorial when you add decor.

Not really going to be a lot of elbow room in that tank before too long, Lol. Quite a few tankmates with big growth potential.
IMO, long branchy driftwood positioned mostly along the bottom third of the tank. The top two thirds will be needed for unobstructed swimming.

+1 . Don't add decor big enough for the jags to claim territory for
I personally would add mix of sand and gravel plus some smooth boulders for a river look, but beware those iridescent sharks could choke on small pebblesand stones.

Ok so it seems like the river rock look… when the jags were in the 180, they didn’t claim the rock structures really just when it was night night time. Lol

I do for the time being have a mix of white sand and some cichlid mix in there now..

Also the sharks won’t be in there for long, just holding those for a friend until she gets a bigger tank. So hopefully they don’t take off. The Pacu still has a ton to grow, it’s at 17x7 right now. The jags are at 10inches and the biggest one is at 10-3/4 inches. I have a shovelnose in there also, he’s the longest at 17-1/2
