HOW TO DETERMINE A TRUE WIDE BAR FROM INDO???

PLEASE POST YOUR TIPS ON HOW TO DETERMINE A TRUE WIDE BAR FROM THE INDO. I KNOW THAT THE TAIL NEED TO CONNECT AND A BIG AND SMALL STRIPE FOR THE LAST 2 STRIPES; ANYTHING ELSE THAT WOULD HELP???? AND WHY I CAN'T FIND ANY NEW IMPORT WIDEBAR ANYMORE???
 
YEAH, I SAW THAT PICTURE TOO BUT I DON'T THINK IT IS ENOUGH TO DETERMINE A REAL WIDEBAR FROM THE TAIL. THERE IS SOMETHING WITH THE BODY SHAPE AND FULL NECK??? EYES??? CAN ANYONE POST SOME TIPS ABOUT IT?
 
did you read all the posts in that thread? there are several discussions there about head shape, tail pattern, stripe pattern, all that stuff. i even posted some pics that compare the head shape of the two fish in question

2 years ago it was hard for me to tell the difference too. Now I can just glance at a dat and tell what it is. Just search the forum for pics of dats and you'll be able to tell the difference too. After a while the art of datnoid ID'ing will be like second nature.
