Hey Everyone,
Before I find out actual UV Sterilizer recommended for my hopefully soon 210 gallon upgrade what size pump is recommended? The tank inhabitants will be defiantly a heavy bioload as rays will be involved.
Here are tank specs:
The 210 will have 2 drilled overflows and measure 72x24x30 (LxWxH in inches) will be sitting on a 40 inch tall stand which makes the total height excluding the canopy 70 inches!
I would like to get a laguna pump as I have used submersible pumps before and this brand is great on electricity. The sizes of the pump are from 2,000gph, 2400gph, 2900gph and 4200gph. Ive read stats about the pumps but Im still unsure what would be the most effective turnover rate for this tank that will be stocked heavy and which pump should achieve this.
Not sure if needed but here are other specs:
-The Sump used will more then likely be a 75 gallon tank and will have no baffles I assume this is whats famously known as the "Kiss" method?
-Plastic tubbing will more then likely be used instead of PVC for the return
Any other specs needed I will try to provide I just listed those as thats what I think would effect flow rate...
