this is my first thread, i want to breed monoculus, but u dont know the differecence between the male and female, can anyone help me please? iwant to keep them from 3 cm
how to differ male and female monoculus???

Well, there are two ways. You can wait and see until Ur male gets the fatty hump on his head, or you can vent them, when you vent, u turn the fish over and look at its holes. If its s male the holes will be the same size, but if its a female then the last hole will be bigger then the first.
Male= o o
Female= o O
I wasent able to vent mine until they where about 8in. But when they get to about 8in, I see a very different mood Change some times. The first time I tried to vent mine, my biggest ripped through the net, so what I did is held the food over the tank and made them look up, when they did I was able to the holes, so good luck and hope everything works out for u in the Long run. Oh and welcome!!!!
