how to differentiate the sex of ball python???

hi there...

i have some problem here regarding the sex of the ball python...i had a hard them to tell which is male and which is female...can anyone help me??thx

the best way to tell is to have it probed or do it yourself if you know how. you can make a decent guess by the size of the spurs near the cloaca. males are longer then females.

i see i see...but i guess i wun be able to do that...but i have heard from my friend that we can tell their sex by looking at the size of their head...i wonder is it true??

not to my knowledge. sometimes the length of the tail. ask this guy.

you have to look at their tail, females are shorter and more stubby...
