Ok
i got a fire eel.
still small and not too thick. 30 cms approx.

anyway, i have got it to eat massivore and hikari sticks, silkworm pupa and fd krill and fresh prawns. how i do it is to slighly coat the food wtih prawn meant juice and tiny morsels of prawn, and it just eats it up so long asi t can swallowi t.
so no problem there
but i am wondering, should i feed it u ntill it doesnt wanna eat anymore and its full. or should i just feed it snippets of food daily? maybe twice daily?
and never have it full?

I feed my juvi spineys 1 large meal a day. until full.. but not stuffed. I also fast them at least once a week. so one day of no food. it worked well for my fire eels, my tire track.. and now my spotteds. I'de be careful w/ the silkworm pupa.. if they're the same ones I know as wax worms? they contain a heavy amount of phosphate that will bond with calcium and can potentially cause bone issues particulalry in young animals as you often see in reptiles. personally I feed mine nightcrawlers and get 1" per month growth rate on my larger spiney species.

You have a fire eel that eats massivore, I think its going to grow at optimal growth no matter what lol. I have found a slightly hungry fish is more healthy than an obese fish.
