i have a bristlenose that i just bought and i want to take really good care if it. I want to get it eating veggies so what do i do? I already tried the shrimp pellets in the cucumber.. what next?

It may take several attempts before they stumble upon it and realize that it is food. Being that they are nocturnal try leaving it in over night.

take a big chunk of cucumber and buy a veggie clip or stick it on a fork and drop it in and they will eat it

Split zuchinni, tight to a rock with a rubberband. All my plecs like it a lot.
It gives an awfull mess though, but they do that anyway..

Do the zucchini thing to a rock make sure you take it out each morning. It will foul the water quickly. Look for little bite marks on the vegetable. After a few tries your pleco will get it.

Most of mines will snack on it like nothing! give them time and they should go crazy for it! good luck!

My bristlenose picks at zucchini but absolutely loves sweet potato. She is very shy but when I drop in some sweet potato she sticks herself to it and will stay on it for hours.
