I have the two in a 125 gallon tank, along with two oscars (one medium, and one small) and one small jack dempsey. Every time I try to feed the eel and rope fish the oscars and jack dempsey eat their food. I try to feed them earthworms and beefheart. I tried hiding the food under some driftwood, under the gravel, and behind things, but they keep finding it before the eel and the rope fish. What should I do?

I have the same problem with my snowflake eel.The others eat it's food and I bought a long plastic feeding hook. Can't get near him or her without it running off.Maybe in time.

good luck with the freshwater moray,I could never get mine to eat but Ive had people tell me they do alot better when theres alittle bit of salt in the tank

Agree with the above, use tongs...for the moray, you should be feeding more ocean based food rather than earthworms and beefheart. Try some shrimp, squid, etc
