Milky Way Galaxy,
anyone keep some frogs/toads with there fish with a small turtle basking platform? how do you feed them? can u let the crikets float and they'll eat them? looking to get my first froggie

If you're not getting an all-aquatic frog, you'll need a larger land mass than just a floating turtle dock. Once you make the larger land mass, the feeding problem solves itself.

One way or another if you want any type of animal that is going to spend any amount of time out of the water you're not going to be able to fill the tank all the way with water. This then obviously limits the size of your fish, since you're only working with half the water volume that you otherwise would be. Take a look through these links and read up quite a bit, then come back if you have more questions:

If i were you id do a center or 1/3 acrylic divider siliconed into place and have that a land section.[/QUOTE]
what fo you mean by center? and i reall like that idea (red) but if the acrylic has a gap (a small one) from going across the whole top of the tank, would the silicone be strong enough to hold the whole thing if it were just siliconed on one side?

and rud if i do what disk says it wouldnt limit my fish choises dramaticly i would think cuz i would have it like a pool the level of the water and the land part will may just be 1centimeter from reaching the land. and be very easy to get in and out off.

I mean place the divider in the center of the tank or 1/3 a way across the tank. It doesnt need to reach all the way to the bottom, you can have 2-3 pieces. One parallel to the bottom and one or two at an angle to add more surface area. Then have the water level come just below the land section.
