I just got two 8" Kelberi. Wondering if anyone can give advice on how to get them to take pellets. Also want to know what kind of pellets can I feed them?

From what I've found kels and azuls have always taken pellets pretty fast for me I feed massivore so after 5 or 6 days of them not eating anything they usually will take pellets

Two tricks to get them on it faster is one put the pellets in water and soften them because the fish is probably not use to eating something hard like that
And two soak the pellets in food the bass will eat so the smell of it gets on the pellets
These two things should help you to get them on it my kelberi that never ate pellets it's whole life and just ate fish fillets and worms before it got to me ate pellets for me 4 hours after it entered my tank
Young bass can be a little picky sometimes so just keep that in mind and be patient with them
Good pellets would be bio gold, nls, but in my opinion massivore is the best pellet to feed I even give it to my saltwater fish
Good luck

Thank you for the advice. I am currently trying to feed them Ken's sinking pellets with krill. Some Cichlid people claim it's as good as NLS.

Ken's is good stuff. I used to feed massivore exclusively, but I am trying other quality foods due to the cost.

Currently I mix:
8oz Ken's Catfish Sticks
8oz Ken's Brine Shirmp Sticks
8oz Ken's Earthworm Sticks
8oz Hikari Sinking Carnivore
16oz Hikari Sinking Cichlid Gold
16oz NLS Thera+A 6mm Sinking

It comes out to around $28.6/2.2lb compared to massivore $43/2.2lb.
