I think I'll feed him a frozen pinkie later today. I know I should defrost it first. Should I feed the snake in a seperate container? And should I feed him twice a week? He's less than a month old.

Once every 5-7 days is fine for a hatchling. I would feed it in the cage; it doesn't make them more aggressive at all.

Edit: I realized I said in the container... sorry! Forgot you keep him in an aquairum.

Feed him in the tank. If youre worried about substrate ingestion, put it on a flat surface inside.

Are you sure you know how to defrost it right?

Do I just defrost it by letting it sit there for a while until it defrosts?

EDIT: Should I leave him alone the day he has eaten?

yeah you can leave it out to defrost until your SURE its defrosted, then put it on a paper towel and warm it up on a heat mat for him :) thats how i do it, or you can use the warm water method...

leave him alonde 2-3 days after hes ate. 2 should be fine though.

I've never dealt with frozen pinky anythings, just medium to large-size rats. I put them in the fridge in the evening to defrost, take them out the next evening when I get home from work, and set them out for a couple of hours to get to about room temp. That's just what works for me, but I guess some variation of that would work for you. Pinkies would defrost a lot more quickly, and I don't know....with a baby corn snake, you might want to put it in a plastic baggy and float it in some warm water for a while? Your snake might not react as well if the food item isn't warmer than room temp.

Pinkies defrost really fast... like 10 minutes.

I leave mine on top of a desk lamp to warm up to about body temperature around 94 F - 100 F then feed it. usually the snake in question respond to this warmth.

corns should be fine if its hungry and already feeding t/f. thats why i suggested warming it up on paper towel on the heatmat. never heard of the plastic bag method LOL. howcome you put the rats in the fridge to defrost? i just leave them out for hours... then warm em up on the trust paper-towel-on-heatmat LOL
