I have a very greedy black ghost knife, and every night, i drop 6 or so algae wafers in with the lights off in hopes of atleast one of them getting to my pleco. For 5 years, the recently previous owner never put nothing else but fish flakes in the tank. How do i get my pleco to start eating the wafers? How do I know that she is eating them?

Wow, how big of a ghost knife is it that it eats wafers? Two thoughts: put the wafer in a pipe that's big enough for the pleco, but too small for the ghost knife. Or stick the wafer in some zuchinni, which may hopefully dissuade the ghost knife from trying to eat the wafer; the zuchinni is edible for the pleco.
My bgk is only 7'' and hes just about the same size as my pleco. My bgk eats everything that goes in the tank. I usually feed him 2-3 tufifex worm cubes and he still eats everything. I wonder if its because he is bored??
