I am getting a pond to put in my basement for my AST, how can I filter it? I have two 50 gallon and one 120 gallon tank I can use to make sumps how do / would you guys do it??

Also if I don't use my 120 for a sump should i breed say cons in it for my AST? It'd be a grow out tank too till the fry get an inch or so then toss em with the AST would the parents let them live that long?

Pond is about 90 gallons
Its 4 ft x 7ft triangle that's about 18 inches deep has different levels website won't let me post a pic

Ok I get how it works, pretty much a swirl filter with media above so it swirls and the big stuff drops off to bottom, then up thru media and sure plants.... what pump do I use?

I like my Laguna, energy efficient for its flow rate. I hooked up a flat box pond filter as a pre filter. I clean it once or twice a year
I do have it in a sump though but I think one would work good for you
