how to find a leak??

I found a small amount of water under the tank today. I can feel water on the back bottom edge. Is there a way to find the leak without draining the tank???

get a flash light and start looking around. its the only way.

do I need to peal the trim away from the glass too??

it might be necessary. look around first before you do that. you could always glue the trim back on if needed.

It looks like the bottom seam about 6" away from the corner.

now, to fix it or replace the tank

I had planned on a larger tank, but not this soon

How long til the whole seam blows?? Is it just a random time??? I would really be pissed to come home tomorrow and find 11 dead fish and a ruined carpet. I just installed the carpet a month ago. The tank is very very old. I must have weakened a seam when I moved it to install the carpet
