how to find the gallons in my pond?

Hi I need to know how to go about finding out how many gallons my pond is? please help. thanks.

I cant find the formula I'm looking for it was different for ponds than aquariums cuz of the different depth levels in a pond. If someone knows what I'm talking about can you point me in the right direction, I know I've seen it before but dont remember where. also the one for aquriums wont work on ponds cuz ponds are usually round or oval no length and width measurement to use in that formula.

Ponds, unless square or rectang., will never really have a def. gallonage. You just have to estimate and section off a irrregular ponds to get an idea. Look at it as several small sections and add them up.
