Not exactly a fish question but the acrylic tank specialists might give me a hand...

The top jug of my blender fell on the kitchen floor. It is made of some sort of tranparent plastic that has a crack almost the whole lenght of it. The crack is worst a the top where it leaks from if I fill it up to the top. The jug can't be replaced and replacing the blender seems like a waste. Can I glue it with something?

No brand names please! Just generic info, I live in BsAs.

Depending on the plastic I am betting that the solvent based glue used to put together plastic models will work, just try to get a little inside the crack. Let it cure for a full 24 hours and then wash it before using.

Thanks guppy. I'll try that.

duct tape

duct tape is good!

I'll do that right now to make myself a milkshake and go shopping for the right kind of glue next week.

hmmm milkshake...
