I have slate rocks stacked on the sides of my pond. They are allways falling.:nilly: I have tried cement and contractors cement glue, it doesn't work. I just want to know whats the best way to give me a scenic view of the pond while not letting all my babys out (turtles). Ive used my biggest rocks near my waterfall and it keeps it looking good but anyone ever tried the fake rocks? or alternatives? Thanks in advance!

The trick to cementing the rocks down on the PVC liner is to use drywall joint tape:

Place your cement (I use white cement with a 3:1 mix with sand) on the PVC. Then lay the drywall joint tape on that, add some cement on top of that and then apply your stone. Make sure the stone is damp so it doesn't absorb all the moisture out of the cement before it drys. The joint tape will improve the bonding between the two. Good luck.

Ok thats sounds like a good idea. Ill take a look into it. Anyone else have any ideas?
