How to Frag a duncan???

i have a big duncan with like 7 head and want to frag can some one tell me how?? or show?

you need a router, with a diamond cutter attachment, cut it at the calceous part, don't touch any soft portions or it won't work...

if you don't have the high tech router, or even a band saw...to make it a clean cut...get some type of garden snips...CLEAN THEM WELL...as a last resort...

overall, it needs to be an extremely clean cut across the 'shell' if you will, i repeat..don't touch any soft spots...

my friends at the lfs do it all the time they have really cool saw for it, apparently corals when being fraggd like that release a very nasty toxin. the guys at my lfs where eye protection so if you try be careful.

Depends on the type of Duncan. Some are branchy and easy to break off a branch. Others will require a bandsaw if the form a massive skeleton.

Diamond wet cut tile saw, is the best tool for cutting LPS corals, using the thinnest blades you can buy. But in the case of banchers like the duncan, your best bet is a rotary tool or a small grinder with a diamond blade.
