How to get an Armatus off live?

Hey guys

I just got my baby armatus of 4 inches 2 days ago. It only eats feeders. The vendor put a feeder into the bag and it ate it when i put it in my tank. I starved it for 2 days already so how can I get the armatus to eat silversides? I cut one in tiny "steaks" but my bichir ate it. the armatus seemed uninterested even if I put it right in front of it's face. Should I seperate the armatus by its self for it to have achance to eat? Any advice? Will the armatus starve to death or do i need to buy feeders? The armatus is very active and healthy looking right now. I have 2 baby large mouth bass that eats pellets and talapia. Isn't the "monkey see monkey do" thing helpful where my bass will show the armtus to eat dead food? Any tips and how U guys did it?

First of all, large mouth bass are coldwater fish, it may seem fine for now but overall they should not be kept at tropical temps. I would buy some feeders and get the armatus really fat off of them and then starve for about a week. Try to get him to eat the feeders the second they hit the water so then when a pellet hits the water hell eat it without any thought

thanks how do i get it to eat the feeders right after they hit the water? lol
 
First get it to recognize that whenever you are by the tank, it means food. Whenever you feed him bend down and let him see your face. Then hold the feeders right above the water for like 5 seconds before you drop it in.

Monkey see monkey do is what i did for most of my preds. WHen hes hungry enough he will eat. or "fish" for him with line and a straitened small peice of hook and when he hits it jerk and the hook will pull right out. I did that for my gars
