how to get ck of live?

Try and feed tasty non live, how big is he?
My clown jsut took everything from a young age however I had a CK years ago that wouldnt take anything but live and I failed with him

My ck wouldnt eat pellets or frozen food for the first while. I tried garlic soaks with some cut up shrimp over in the tank overnight, the next day they were all gone and has been on pellets/frozen foods since then. Just keep trying different food items everynight and eventualy he'll take some. Try when the lights are off as they usualy seem to perk up instantly.

I only feed my fish what i want them to eat. If i notice something isnt eating, after 2 weeks i feed it live. Its never taken me more than 2 weeks.

I feed my RCK every 3 days. He was on feeders first but as I was feeding the other fish I think he imitated their eating habits or just got very hungry and when started eating off those... But I feed them in the dark/nighttime so just do that and he'll switch over eventually.. Mines 10" but if yours is over 15"+ most likely he won't.... Good luck.!

Starving will always be the way to get your fish off of live. Just let it starve for a few days and then try some frozen bloodworms. If it doesn't take it, just wait another couple of days. It usual takes a bit of time sometimes to get them off of live especially if that's all they know. The bigger it is, the harder it will be to get it off live.
