i have an eclipse system 37 gallon tank, it has the filter and lights built into the hood, and i am pretty sure it is 2 18 watt bulbs, i was just wondering if i got a 75 watt 30" strip light for plants (not aquatic) from walmart and just put it in the hood would that help my plants grow? i am just hoping to get some more growth out of my plants

Well if you could get that strip light to fit in your hood then it should help with the plants but I don't think the color would be too appealing to display fish.
