How to get my umbees to pair??

I have 2 mag x umbees female is about 4.5 inches and the male is 5.5 inches. Any advice on how to get them to pair/ spawn would be greatly appreciated.

Put them in a 75g divided. It may take a couple months but at that size it shouldn't take too long. Once you see them settled in you can start pulling divider for short periods of time to see how they do.

I have then in a 250 right now. They seem to get along the male is not chasing the female all over the tank.

You think they will be good in the 250?

250 is great long term. But ive found it easier to pair smaller umbees in smaller tanks. Then move them once paired. But if that's what you got to work with then maybe add some dithers
