How to get pleco out of display tank

I cannot get her out manually. She is a female l144
There are so many wood shavings from her and her mate in the tank that the bright yellow/orange fish remains invisible. I managed to catch the male and everything else in the tank but I still cannot get the. Female. I even drained the tank and could not find her. Any tips to try and trap her or anything?

id use a bottle trap (cut the top off and place it inside out). Then add some of its food like sinking pellets and set it overnight. This should get the place out while not any of the other fish. Good luck!
