lol. Any idea how to get billions of snails out of a tank with a 28'' "FW" Moray? I tryed baiting, but couldn't get the bait back out cuz whenever I try to stick my hand in he launches out of the cave and trys to eat me. :nilly:
Ive found moray bites REALLY hurt. lol
Any ideas?

Try a snail trap...cut the top off a plastic bottle, turn it around stuff it back, put some lettuce in it, tie a string on it and sink it in the tank. When it fills up with snails take it out and do it again. Just a quick brainstorm, never tried it. Good luck. Have you tried "Had a snail"?

Hmm. God ideas. I tried cucumber. The moray yanked it into his cave. Im not sure why.

start buying lots of loaches, feed the eel till he is stuffed then add 15 loaches and see if they can eat the snails before being eatin themselfs.

my hubby who had freshwater moray eels and eel bites.. lol. said to block the eel in his hiding place with egg crate and clean out the snails. then pull the egg crate back out.

Some video of the would be quite entertaining. Just make a container that you can put some cucumber in and that the snails can get into, with a string for removal.

can't. He live behind a big rock. Nowhere to block him. :\

Salt would kill loaches anyway

Yeah I need a snail trap. I just tried a peice of zuchinni and the moray ATE it. That was unusual for a moray. lol

Not strange. Most fish will eat vegies, and even fruits. Even the morays.
