I wonder how hard it is to get Malabaricus in accepting market shrimps.
I thought after one month, it will start eating them but my wolf only eat
live feeders, shrimps that i put into the tank always decay.
Now i am starving him again and its been a week, should i continue to feed feeders or starve more? and how many more days should i starve him.

Don't give him any more feeders, starve him till he takes the shrimp. Mine took it since day one but he typically won't eat it in front of me. Drop it in, leave the room for an hour or so and come back, take it out if he didn't eat it. Also make sure it's at night.

thank god mine took to shrimp right away, but yes like they have said starve him until he goes for the shrimp, maybe even move it around in front of him to make it look alive, or even like touch his face with it so he bites it in aggression and then he will get a taste for it, these are some idea's u can try, but i am not a pro, good luck

u lucky dude, i been trying to move shrimps around its head, and it never ate when i am in front of it.

Yes, generally they will eat at night if you drop it in and walk away. I would recommend allowing it to sit for prolonged periods of time to the point that it begins to decay though. I was able to train my previous 15 in Mala to chaise smelt at the top of the tank and snap it out of my hand (yikes). My newest Mala, which is currently 9 in, is pretty shy with feeding in front of me. I've been trying to get him onto smelt but seems to be stuck on worms and shrimp only. I guess it's better than feeder fish though. Good luck and try a variety of different foods.

what did u mean by letting the shrimp decay after a period of time? How does it help? Doesn't it make the water stink?
