I finally got my Indo datnoid to eat Hikari Massivore pellets! It's pretty simple.. All you need to do is start feeding your dat frozen bloodworms. If it doesn't want to eat the frozen bloodworms then your gonna have to starve it. Get it to eat the bloodworms and continue to feed everyday to ensure that the datnoid gets used to the frozen bloodworms. Then starve the fish again for about 2 or 3 days and then try dropping in a pellet. I recommend Hikari Massivores because of its really strong meat-like smell which helps the datnoid want to eat it. If the datnoid is small then break the pellet into little bite-size pieces. Soaking the pellet in water before dropping it into the tank may help the fish swallow it down. My dat got used to pecking at the frozen bloodworms that were even at the bottom of the tank. So now he even eats the pellets after they land on the bottom. This really works but just takes time and patience. Just wanted to share this with everyone!
