Am I the only one that is a little leery of OSB in an aquarium? Looking at other threads on OSB I see some detractors https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/upcomming-plywood-build.503662/page-2 . At the very least I would fiberglass/epoxy the outside as well.
We're currently rebuilding a 30 year old boat and the vertical surfaces made of hardwood look great, the vertical surfaces made of plywood look decent, the vertical surfaces made of OSB that got wet are loaded with mold and are crumbling, and the horizontal areas that were under the carpet and made of plywood that hadn't been fiberglass are getting soft and bad. Nothing is perfect but OSB is water resistant, probably not waterproof, and from what I have heard doesn't dry out as readily as plywood once wet.
