I was wondering how I would go about setting up a 100 gallon stock tank as a pond for my Managuense. I've never set up a pond and I'm very inexperienced in this area. uploadfromtaptalk1404095556221.jpguploadfromtaptalk1404095570127.jpg
The tank in question.

A stock tank for fish is not much different than an aquarium. Add water, filter system, and fish. Biggest concern may be with the temperature in the summer if kept outdoors. Keep it in a partially shaded area. Floating plants will help prevent the water from getting too warm. A better idea to help stabilize the temperature is to bury the stock tank in the ground.

It really depends on how you want to do it.

indoors or out? is it a growout or display pond? what filters do you like running?

You could install the drain plug and run a sponge filter in the water, boom instant pond. You can also bulkhead the entire thing and build an overly complicated sump system.

You have not provided much information about your desried pond project, please give us detail you want and we will guide you how to setting up your pond. Thanks
