How to grow flowerhorn Kok

Just wondering if there’s any ways that you can get a flowerhorns kok to grow faster mine is about 1-1.5” and doesn’t show much sign of a kok growing but also I don’t really know what to look for I know how to care for the fish but don’t know anything about their koks.

He’s way to young for his kok to be growing. Mine didn’t start to grow his until like 5 inches, then he sadly died.?

Around 5 inches. MAYBE a little smaller.

It all depends on the genes this was my fella at 2 Inchs. 2nd pic is him a week later.

I'm not 100% sure to be honest pictures don't really do him justice. I bought him as a red magma but looks nothing like the red magma that Google show.
