how to grow koi fast?

Need to grow my koi faster, just got some catfish. I got them on Quick Grow(for koi),koi Color food\flakes and bloodworms. I need that one thing that will make um' grow insane!


Catfish are about 1" or less and koi are 12" and I have 4 4" koi. So big diff. Just want to be ready. FYI catfish are in a 2og right now
 
Small fish fry. Brine shrimp. Or Ghost shrimp. Maybe even pieces of cucumber.

Increase temps (although, if it's your pond, that might not be feasible), and feed multiple amounts per day of anything high protein. You could make your own food. At GAB.com they have recipes for gel food, and the protein content is something like 60%. You could probably get it higher.
 
Dangerous to feed color food (high protein) during cold months. Kois cannot digests it when cold. In fact we do not feed during cold months. Wheatgerm for cooler temps and color for Summer. I'm assuming you don't plan to help them out by heating the pond.
Quick Grow has a lot of filler.
Feeding more often and less is better than a lot at one time. It give them time to absorb the food. Clean water and aeration is key to bigger koi.
